Summary Introduction

The study of the evolutionary relationship between individual organisms or group of organisms is called phylogenetics.  A phylogenetic tree gives an evolutionary relationship between various biological species. It is also called an evolutionary tree. Phylogenetic trees are useful in various fields such as bioinformatics, phylogenetics, and systematics.
