Summary Introduction
In all living organisms, ribosomal ribonucleic acid (rRNA) is essential for protein synthesis. Ribosomes have small ribosomal subunits (SSU) and large ribosomal subunits (LSU). There are three rRNA’s in prokaryotic ribosomes, 5s rRNA, and 23s rRNA in large ribosomal subunit and 16s rRNA in the small ribosomal subunit. Both LSU and SSU are essential in finding out evolutionary relationships among organisms.
