Introduction:
Gondwana was a supercontinent about 250 million years ago and this continent contained subcontinents: South America, Africa, Antarctica, Australia, the Arabian Peninsula and Indian subcontinent.
The Asian and South American continents were slowly split apart 65 million years ago during the age of the dinosaurs and the continents of Africa and South America drift apart 120 million years ago.
