Introduction:

Coronary arteries supply oxygenated blood to the heart muscles. Like the other organs, the heart also needs oxygenated blood and nutrients for its functioning. These arteries supply blood to the anterior and posterior sides of the heart. Coronary blood flow is entirely reciprocal when compared to the other organ system blood flow, which is detailed here.
