Heartbeat is brought out due to systemic, systole, and diastole patterns of the heart chambers. Contraction and relaxation of the heart muscles is by the repolarization and depolarization of the cardiomyocyte membranes. This brings electrical pulse, and this pulse is transmitted to the entire heart muscles, which result in heartbeat.
