Introduction:
The protein coding gene carries the genetic instruction for the conversion of DNA to RNA, and RNA to protein. This directional pathway of genetic information is called as central dogma. Polypeptide chains are formed by the translation of transcribed gene. It consists of a large number of amino acid forming a single linear chain. One single gene contains the coding sequence for several polypeptide chain.
