Introduction:
The heart is present in the posterior thorax of the sternum and the costal cartilage and lies on the superior surface of the diaphragm. The heart has five main surfaces, which are anterior sternocostal, posterior base, inferior diaphragmatic, and the left or right pulmonary surfaces. The heart has four-chambers, which are two auricles and two ventricles.
