Introduction:

The major source of energy production in all cells is the glucose, whichis a monosaccharide. Absence or shortage of glucose results in the utilization of other molecules as a source of energy such as fats, amino acids, and so on. Excess of blood glucose results in type I and type II diabetes mellitus.
