Concept introduction:

The conversion of glucose stored in muscle turns into lactic acid during exercise and the increased level of lactic acid accumulate in muscle. This would result in fatigues of muscle.

By increasing the glucose level in the muscle in form of diet or drinks containing electrolyte helps in increasing the blood glucose level and thus prevents fatigues.
