Introduction:
Arteries, veins, and capillaries are the three major blood vessels that form a closed circulatory system in the human body. The vessels that move out from the heart are called arteries. They branch into vessels of smaller size, called arterioles. Deoxygenated blood flows in the pulmonary circuit of arteries and oxygenated blood flows in the systematic circuit. Arteries are divided into three types, namely elastic arteries, muscular arteries, and arterioles.
