The study of genomics and proteomics is highly important as it reveals the sequence and position of a particular gene and also the structure and function of the protein. Therefore, genomics is the systematic approach to study genes, its functions, and their interaction while proteomics deals with the study of protein structure, complexes, andposttranslational modification.
