Introduction:

Calcium and phosphorus are important elements as they are needed in a number of reactions. They are useful in many reactions like in the formation of bones, inactivation and deactivation of certain enzymes, in the formation of nucleic acids, in the contraction of muscles and thereby facilitating movement of the joints of the body, in the maintenance of permeability of the cell and many others.
