Introduction:

Vitamins are the organic compounds made by the plants and the animals. Our body cannot synthesize vitamins; therefore, we need to take it with food. Vitamins help in regulating the normal body functions of the body. Vitamins play a vital role in the normal processing of the digestion, absorption, and metabolism of the food.

Fat-soluble vitamins are those vitamins which are soluble in fats. Fat soluble vitamins require bile salts for their absorption. These vitamins are generally stored I the liver of the body.

Vitamin A is a type of the fat-soluble vitamin. Vitamin A can be taken from plants, liver, fish oil and orange fruits.
