Introduction:

Gram stain helped identify the causative agent as some species of Vibrio genus. But it was important to identify the exact species that caused infection in so many patients. Hence, some additional tests were performed, which include sucrose test, lactose test, arabinose test, ONPG test, and growth in salt stress (at 0% and 6% salt concentrations).
