Explanation of Solution

Given:

The rear window of first car is tilted at an angle of $\text{45}°$

The sunlight reflects into the eyes of driver of second car from the rear window of the first car.

Ray diagram: Rays are the lines with arrows in Ray diagram. The ray diagram traces the path taken by light from object to image of the object.

It is mainly used to find the position and physical properties of object’s image.

Since the angle of incident and reflection is equal, so the position of Sun will be directly overhead that would reflect light into the driver’s eyes according to law of reflection.
