Summary Introduction

Introduction:

The cell mediated immune response is mediated by T lymphocytes, which participates in the phagocytosis, Natural killer cells (NK), formation of cytotoxic T lymphocytes and releases cytokines for antigen response. The main function of the cell mediated immune response is to detect and eliminate the intracellular pathogens by phagocytosis, delayed hypersensitivity, anti-viral immunity, graft rejection and graft versus host disease.
