Introduction:

Glands are classified as endocrine and exocrine glands on the bases of their way to release chemical secretions. Endocrine glands release their secretions directly into the blood and are ductless glands while exocrine glands release their secretions directly to the target sites through the ducts. The chemical secretions of the endocrine gland are known as hormones.
