Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

The processes and materials required for manufacturing of fiber reinforced fiberglass composite needs to be explained.

Concept Introduction:

Fiber reinforced components (FRC) −

It consist of the following three components −

1. The fiber − available as either dispersed or discontinuous phase
2. The matrix − presence as continuous phase
3. The interface − presence as fine interphase

Same stress is observed when the direction of matrix and direction of fiber are aligned in parallel direction to each other. These techniques use the following methods for the formation of high strength fiber composite.

Methods − Refining and blending

Fiberglass −It uses glass fiber for its formation. It is a common type of fiber reinforced plastic

Properties of Fiberglass −

1. Non-magnetic
2. Non-Conductive in nature
3. High weight
4. Cheap in cost
5. More flexible as compared to copper
