Summary Introduction

Introduction:

Teeth provide the mechanical digestion of food. They consist of two sets of teeth:the primary teeth and secondary teeth. The ten primary teeth central incisor, lateral incisor, canine, first molar and second molar are sequenced from the midline to the sides. The secondary teeth are sequenced in central incisor, lateral incisor, canine, first premolar, second premolar and third premolar from the midline.

To process the handling of food in different ways different types of teeth are adapted. That follows the structure-function relationship such as canines, incisors, molars, and premolars are the teeth that have the adaptation for different functions to handle the food in different ways.
