Sensation can be categorized as visceral sensory and somatic sensory. The visceral organs are known to be innervated by the motor fibers and visceral sensory fibers of the autonomic nervous system. Somatic nervous system contains sensory and motor nerves that provide innervation to the limbs as well as the body wall.
