Introduction:

The term plexus designates a collection or network of nerves. These nerves are formed from the bundle of nerve cells (neurons). The main constituents of these nerve cells are axons, dendrites, and cell bodies. The autonomic plexus is associated with the functioning of the autonomic nervous system or ANS.
