Introduction:

Brain and its integral part constitute the central nervous system that controls much of the involuntary actions in our body. Involuntary actions like heartbeat, respiration, excretion, and blood pressure are solely controlled by the central nervous system. All these nodal control centers are located in the nuclei of the hypothalamus and the mid-brain.
