Introduction:

Autonomic nervous system is divided into two subdivisions, sympathetic and parasympathetic. The sympathetic nervous system works in the way of increasing the heartbeat, respiration, and metabolic rate at the time of flight- and- fight. The Parasympathetic nervous system works in decreasing the heartbeat rate, respiration, and metabolic rate at the time of rest- and- digest. The parasympathetic actions in the target organs are more localized than the sympathetic effect.
