Summary Introduction

To determine: Whether valves can be found in the veins leading to the heart from the brain.

Introduction: The force that generates a flow of blood through the cardiovascular system is known as ventricular contraction. The flow of blood is directly proportional to the pressure gradient between any two ends.

Explanation of Solution

Veins arising from the brain do not need valves as the flow of blood occurs with the help of gravity. As the blood flows through the circulatory system, the blood pressure becomes highest in the arteries and decreases continuously. The vessels offer some resistance to blood flow, resulting in loss of energy. Finally, the pressure is decreased. The friction between the blood flows occurs due to blood flow resistance.

Conclusion

There are valves in the veins which leads to the heart from the brain/
