Concept Introduction:

Lipids that contain phosphorus atoms are called phospholipids. The common type of phospholipid is phosphoacylglycerol that consists of two fatty acids esterified with two OH groups of glycerol and phosphoric acid is esterified to one OH group of alcohol and one OH group of glycerol.

Soap is the long hydrocarbon chain with the metal salt of the fatty acid and is formed by the basic hydrolysis of triacylglycerol to give glycerol and metal salt generally sodium and potassium salt of fatty acids.
