Comparison between the properties of homogenous and heterogeneous mixtures.
Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
The mixture is the matter composed of two or more same or different substances that can be separated by means of the physical means. The mixing of sand and stone is the example mixture.
The homogenous mixture is the mixture that formed by the constantly and uniformly mixing of the particle of substances. The particles are so small that cannot be separated by the physical means. The mixing of the sugar in water is homogenous mixture because the sugar mixed uniformly in water.
The heterogeneous mixture is the mixture in which the particle remains distinct and can be separated easily by physical means. The salad is an example of heterogeneous mixture because all the different vegetables can easily separate from each other.
The solution is the other name of the homogenous mixture.
Conclusion:
Thus, the heterogeneous mixture can be separated by the physical means but homogenous mixture cannot be separated by physical means.
