Applet:
Applet is a small program which is written by using java
- This program will be executed on all internet browsers by using Java Virtual Machine (JVM).
- This applet program displays the result on a frame of the webpage, any application window, or applet viewer which is the product of Sun Microsystems.
- Usually, this application will be written by java, but sometimes other languages also can be used.
- Languages such as JRuby, Pascal, Jython and so on.
- Applet program can be easily passed over any network, because most of the browsers will support applet applications.
Hyper Text Mark-up Language (HTML):
- HTML belongs to the fifth-generation software.
- The software was developed during the year 1990 and is represented as fifth-generation software.
- In 1990, a British researcher named Tim Berners-Lee created a set of technical rules that became the World Wide Web, a universal document center.
- He also created a language called HTML, which is used to create the document called web pages.
- A web page may contain text and multimedia contents such as images, audio, and video.
