Calculation:

According to question,

Perimeter=2( l+b )

Substituting the values,

  $\begin{array}{l}=2(4x^2+1+3x-3)\\ =8x^2+2+6x-6\\ =8x^2+6x-5\end{array}$

Putting x =0.8

  = $8{(0.8)}^2+6(0.8)-5$

  =4.92 inches
