Introduction:

Cranial nerves are the nerves that originate from the brain and innervate most of the body parts to provide information and develop communication between the body parts and the central nervous system. Cranial nerves include two forms of neurons, namely sensory and motor neurons. Sensory neurons transmit sensory information from the body parts to the central nervous system while motor neurons transmit processed information from the central nervous system to the body parts.
