Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

The probability that the ends of a polymer chain of molar mass $85\text{kg}{\text{mol}}^{-1}$ are $\text{15}\text{nm}$ apart when the polymer is treated as a one dimensional freely jointed chain has to be calculated.

Concept introduction:

The one dimensional freely jointed chain is said to be the primary structure of the macromolecule.  The primary structure of the macromolecule is the sequence of the residues which make up the macromolecule.
