Introduction:
Photosynthesis is a process in which the green plants absorb the solar energy and convert the light energy into the chemical energy. This process takes place in chloroplast organelle which is present in the green plants. The chloroplast contains the chlorophyll pigments that transmit green light and absorb other light for photosynthesis. Plants are placed under the domain Eukarya as the plant cell contains a true nucleus and membrane bound cell organelles.
