Program Plan Intro

Sliders:

• The component that is used for adjusting the numbers graphically for the range of values that are being specified is called as sliders.
• The sliders are being displayed in range that one end contains the minimum value and the other end contains the maximum value.
• Tick mark is being displayed along with the labels to indicate the values.
• There are two types of tick marks and they are:
  • Major tick mark
  • Minor tick mark
• The spacing and appearance of the tick mark can be controlled using the method present in the “JSlider” class.
• The spacing present between the minor and the major tick marks can be adjusted using the methods namely:
  • setMajorTickSpacing
  • setMinorTickSpacing
    • The above methods hold the integer value as the argument.
