Summary Introduction
Introduction:
The heart is a myogenic organ and thus, can generate electrical impulses which are responsible for pumping of blood. The electrical activities of the heart are of major clinical significance and a system called electrocardiogram (ECG) is used to monitor the electrical activity of the heart. The ECG uses a characteristic graph paper having a square that denotes a particular time interval and this paper runs at the same speed as the ECG system. The ECG consists of the P wave, QRS complex, T wave, U wave, and QT interval.
