To determine the length of the other side and the degree measures of the two acute angles.

Explanation of Solution

Given information :

  $\angle C={90}^{\circ }$

Any two sides of the triangle are given.

Let us assume sides of the triangle be a, b, and c.

Thus the triangle so formed is,

  

Whenever two sides and an angle is given and we have to find third side, we shall use cosine law.

Cosine formula states that,

  $\cos A=\frac{b^2+c^2-a^2}{2bc}$

After finding the third side we may use the same to find other angles.
