Composite material:
Composite material is referred as a material system containing combination or mixture of number of micro-constituents or macro-constituents that vary in their chemical composition and structure that are necessarily impossible to solve and have a apparent interface dividing them.
Composites consist of two phases namely matrix phase and reinforcement phase. There are different types of composite materials according to the size, structure and shape of the reinforcement phases.

- Fiber reinforced polymer
- Glass fiber
