Diameter of centre cushion
Radius of centre cushion
∴ Area of centre cushion
Diameter of each of seven circular cushions = 12 inches
Radius of each of seven circular cushions
∴ Area of each of seven circular cushions
There are seven congruent smaller cushions and one central cushion. Each cushion has 2 circular sides (which is the fabric on back side).
The total area of fabric = 7 (2 times the area of smaller cushion) + (2 times the area of central cushion)
