Summary Introduction

To describe: The lumbar plexus and sacral plexus.

Introduction: The nerve plexus is the complex branching network of intersecting nerves. It consists of both efferent and afferent fibres that emerge from the reunion of the anterior rami of the spinal nerves. The anterior rami form four major plexuses, namely, the branchial plexus, the cervical plexus, the lumbar plexus and the sacral plexus.
