To determine: The ramus that provides the sensory and motor innervation to the skin and the skeletal muscles of the back.

Introduction: The spinal and the brain make up the major part of the central nervous system. The spinal is a tube-like structure that begins from the medulla oblongata of the brainstem and extends toward the lumbar region of the vertebral column. It is covered by three protective layer or meninges, namely the dura mater, arachnoid mater, and pia mater.
