Introduction: The term “reflex” is an involuntary and almost sudden movement in response to a specific stimulus. The reflex is otherwise called as a reflex action. It preserves homeostasis through creating rapid adjustments in the organ systems or function of organs. The reflex does not need or receive conscious thought.
