Program Plan Intro

 GUI application for calculating theater revenue

 Program plan:

• Import required packages.
• Define a class named “TheatreGUI”.
  1. ○ Declare the required variables.
  2. ○ Create text fields and buttons for the application.
  3. ○ Define a constructor of class “TheatreGUI”.
     • Set title, size, layout for the application.
     • Add “addActionListener()” for button to calculate revenue.
     • Create required labels for application.
     • Instantiate “Jpanel” and add controls to panels.
  4. ○ Define a private class named “JbButtonListener” that implements “ActionListener”.
     • Define a method named “actionPerformed()”.
       • Declare a required variable to get the ticket detail from the user.
       • Get the input from the user in the textbox fields.
       • Calculate the gross and net value for adult and child separately.
       • And Calculate the total gross value for both adult and child tickets and also calculate a total net value for both adult and child tickets.
       • Then display the result in the dialog box.
         • Define a “main()” method.
           • Instantiate the class “TheatreGUI” and call to the constructor.
