A study of business indicates that 81 of 129 co-browsing organizations use skills-based routing to match the caller with the right agent, whereas 65 of 176 non-co-browsing organizations use skills-based routing to match the caller with the right agent.
a. Construct a
b. At the 0.05 level of significance is there evidence of a difference between co-browsing organization in the proportion in the proportion that use skills-based routing to match the caller with the right agent?
c. Find the p-value in (a) and interpret its meaning.
d. Compare the results of (a) and (b) to those of Problem 10.34 on page 375.

In the study, thebirds were tested in a box with two chambers andwere free to move from one chamber to another. Inone chamber, two large eye-spots were painted onone wall. The other chamber had plain walls. Theresearcher recorded the amount of time each birdspent in the plain chamber during a 60-minute session.Suppose the study produced a mean of M = 34.5 minutes on the plain chamber with SS = 210 for a sample of n = 15 birds. (Note: If the eye spots have no effect, then the birds should spend an average of μ = 30minutes in each chamber.)a. Is this sample sufficient to conclude that the eyespots have a significant influence on the birds’behavior? Use a two-tailed test with α = .05.b. Compute the…arrow_forward

In the study, women were asked about their impact on the security posture of their organization. The study found that 24% of women indicated that their opinions are not valued When comparing women who did not feel valued and women who did feel valued, the most substantial difference concerned training and leadership programs. The study also found that 48% of women that feel undervalued say their organization does not provide adequate training and leadership development resources whereas 59% of women who do feel valued in their position indicate that their organization does provide adequate training and leadership development resources If a woman is selected at random and that woman indicates that her organization does not provide adequate training and leadership development resources, what is the probability that this woman feels undervalued? Frequently, air traffic controllers work long hours with little sleep . Researchers wanted to test their ability to make basic decisions as they become increasingly sleep deprived . To test their abilities, a sample of 10 air traffic controllers is selected and given a decision-making skills test following 12-hour, 24-hour, and 48 -hour sleep deprivation. Higher scores indicate better decision-making skills. - More people are using social media to network, rather than phone calls or e-mails (US News & World Report, October 20, 2010). From an employment perspective, jobseekers are no longer calling up friends for help with job placement, as they can now get help online. In a recent survey of 150 jobseekers, 67 said they used LinkedIn to search for jobs. A similar survey of 140 jobseekers, conducted three years ago, had found that 58 jobseekers had used LinkedIn for their job search. (You may find it useful to reference the appropriate table: z table or t table)Let p1 represent the population proportion of recent jobseekers and p2 the population proportion of job seekers three years ago. a.
