Introduction:
The skin is primarily divided into three layers: epidermis, dermis, and hypodermis. The epidermal layer of the skin is ectoderm in origin and avascular in nature, while the dermal layer is mesoderm in origin and vascular in nature. The epidermis layer is composed of epithelial cells, which are closely packed while the dermis layer consists of irregular connective tissue.
