Chapter 11.10, Problem 11.13CP
Program Plan Intro
Structure:
In C++, the structure is a user-define data type, which contains different type of elements with different lengths.
- The size of the structure is calculated by the total number of elements which is declared in a structure.
- Structure can be passed as a function argument in the same way as pass any other variable.
- It can also be passed as a reference variable in a function argument.
- A structure can be returned by a function as a structure variable.

Why should you use the new operator to generate instances of a structure?
NB: You will use only structure variable to solve this problem. You are discouraged to use array of structure.
Ql: Write a program that defines a structure (with three integer members; length, width, and
height), then pass a structure variable as a parameter to a function which is used to calculate
and return the volume of a cuboid using the following formula:
volume = length • width • hight
