Introduction:
Muscle is a type of soft tissue which is found in most animals. Muscle fibers comprise of actin and myosin protein filaments present in an alternate manner and their cross-bridge formation results in movements of the body. The main three forms of muscles are cardiac, smooth, and skeletal muscles. The hyoid bone is located between the chin and thyroid cartilage and is also known as tongue-bone. The larynx is also referred as the voice box.
