The molar mass of the gas needs to be determined.

Concept Introduction:

The ideal gas equation is combination of different gas laws such as Boyle’s law, Charles’s law, Gay-Lussac law etc. The combination of all these laws gives the ideal gas equation.

  PV = nRT

Here, P is pressure, V is volume, n is number of moles, R is Universal gas constant and T is temperature.

The mass of a substance can be calculated from number of moles and molar mass as follows:

  m=n×M

Here, n is number of moles and M is molar mass.
