Cycloalkanes
Carbon atoms are lined up in a ring are called as cycloalkanes. The two hydrogen atom from the terminal carbon of a chain is removed to form cycloalkanes. These compounds can be drawn using polygons. The cycloalkane compounds are named by adding the prefix before the name of acyclic alkane having same number of carbon atoms. The general formula of cycloalkanes is
