Image window:

The projection of plane produces the image of an object. In the projection of plane that computes the projection of objects, there is a restricted area which defines the boundaries of final image called as image window.

Frame buffer:

The final image is obtained from the projection of an object. The appearance of each pixel is determined and it is in bit map representation, then the result collectively stored in a storage area called the frame buffer.
