Interpretation: The second law of
Concept introduction: Universe is made up of energy and matter. Energy is not a material as it does not have any mass and it does not occupy space.
Explanation of Solution
Second law of thermodynamics states that energy seems to disperse or extend. Transfer of energy takes place from hot objects to cool objects. Second rule provides that energy and matter tend to disperse or to become more disordered. Entropy is the energy of a system which is unavailable to do work because of dispersal.
Energy appears to scatter or disperse. Such thermal energy is often transferred spontaneously from a hot object to a cool object.
