Introduction:
The calcaneal tendon or Achilles tendon rupture is commonly affects the sports people especially in recreational sports. Moreover, the calcaneal tendon rupture is more usual in old age and middle age people. This calcaneal tendon is a strong fibrous tendon, which connects the muscles from the back of the calf to heel bone. Whenever the tendon is overstretched it will lead to complete or partial rupture. Usually this type of rupture will occur when jumping, falling from a height, and stepping into a hole.
