The reason behind the maternal–placentae–fetal interface being compromised.
Introduction:
The premature separation of the placenta from the uterus is called the abruptio placentae. The common symptoms are bleeding, fetal distress, and uterine contractions. It is commonly seen in the second half of the pregnancy. It can be fatal for the mother as well as the fetus.
